After sustaining a season-ending compound fracture and dislocated right ankle in 2020, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott comes in with high expectations this season. Below, we look at Dak Prescott‘s 2021 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.
Prescott, in his last fully healthy season, posted a career-high 4,902 and 30 touchdowns in 2019. Even last season, he averaged the most points per game among quarterbacks, although that can be discredited since he played just five games.
Back and healthy, should Prescott have a sky-high fantasy value this season?

Prescott’s ADP ranks 21st among all non-IDP players. He’s gone as high as No. 2 and as low as No. 88.
The Cowboys star ranks fifth among quarterbacks taken off fantasy boards, one behind Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and one ahead of Los Angeles Chargers second-year QB Justin Herbert.

Where should you take Prescott in your fantasy football draft?
After a couple of disappointing seasons for the Cowboys, Prescott is hoping to be both the best quarterback in football and in fantasy.
Given his ultra-strong start to last season, Prescott should be considered a late-second or early-third round pick. While Prescott may not be a prominent running quarterback, he ran for 93 yards with three touchdowns through 5 games last season.
With WR CeeDee Lamb in his second season and WR Amari Cooper still on the roster, Prescott has the weapons to deliver big results. While he’s unlikely a keeper in keeper leagues, he should, without question, be taken by the fourth round in almost every league.
Prescott should be taken at the tail end of the first wave of quarterbacks. Build your team with a couple of running backs and wide receivers first, then ideally snag Prescott in the third round.
