New York Jets WR Corey Davis signed with the team after spending his first four NFL campaigns in Tennessee. Below, we look at Davis’ 2021 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.
Davis said in the spring that he signed with the Jets with the intention of playing with QB Sam Darnold, and he believed in the young signal caller. It didn’t work out, though, as Darnold was shipped to the Carolina Panthers, and the Jets will be breaking in rookie QB Zach Wilson instead.
Davis was up and down during his time in Nashville, but he had a career year in 2020. While he missed two games, he still tied a career best with 65 receptions, and he ended up with career highs of 984 yards and five touchdowns.
Davis’ ADP: 140.74

Davis flirted with a 1,000-yard season in Tennessee, but he moved to an unattractive situation with the rebuilding Jets. Fantasy managers don’t seem to be terribly bullish on Wilson or the New York offense being very productive.
Davis has been the 76th receiver off the board on average, which puts him in the neighborhood of WR6.

Where should you take Davis in your fantasy football draft?
Davis was in a good spot for fantasy production, but the Titans went another way to bring in Julio Jones, and never really pursued bringing back the receiver. Now, he is in a worse situation fighting for targets with PPR stud Jamison Crowder and up-and-comer Denzel Mims.
Davis has the look of a fantasy reserve at this point as he’ll be working with a rookie quarterback that will have growing pains, and his production is likely to be down across the board unless some sort of an injury forces Crowder and/or Mims out of the lineup.
I’d grab Davis for depth in the area of Rounds 12-14, and if I miss out on him, there are plenty of other guys in that neighborhood that have the same credentials and potential. No big deal.
