Most of the Philadelphia 76ers are either enjoying a vacation after a long and grueling NBA season, others are getting some work in to prepare for next season, and others are still playing basketball.
Defensive stud Matisse Thybulle is playing for Australia in the 2020 Olympics that got pushed back a season due to the pandemic and he impressed on Monday to help the Boomers knock off a formidable opponent.
Thybulle had 12 points, three assists, and an impressive block on Kevin Durant as Australia knocked off Team USA 91-84 in an exhibition matchup. Thybulle and the Boomers are now 2-0 in the exhibition games while the Americans fall to 0-2 after falling to Nigeria in their first game.

Thybulle has had a couple of very good games to begin this Olympic season as he played well against Argentina as well in their exhibition opener. This type of experience is going to be huge for his development going forward. He had another impressive sophomore season with the Sixers, but an Olympic experience should do wonders for him.
