The Kraft family has been great when it comes to keeping Gillette Stadium up-to-date and competing with some of the newer venues. They added the Optum Field Lounge a few years back to provide a high-quality atmosphere for those interested in seeing the game from the ground level.
Now, Gillette Stadium is getting another addition with a massive video board under the team’s Super Bowl banners. And, despite the board being described as massive, the first pictures of it are pretty amazing.
The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin provided social media with one of the first looks of the new screen being installed in Foxboro.

This video board looks to be at least twice the size if not larger than the one that stood there before it. Fans, players, and coaches alike will get to relish the opportunity to view some of the replays as if they were at the screen of a drive-in movie theater.
Shoutout to the Kraft’s for keeping Gillette fresh and enjoyable.
