There’s a strong case to be made for plenty of college football programs in the “DBU” debate, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better one than they have in Baton Rouge.
The LSU Tigers have been churning out top defensive back prospects for years, and the 2022 NFL draft class will be no exception.
Derek Stingley Jr. is widely regarded as the top cornerback prospect in the nation heading into the 2021 college football season, and his opinion on the topic of which school is best at generating blue-chip defensive backs is emblazoned on his arm.
If Stingley has the kind of campaign we expect from him this season, he should be a top-five lock in next year’s draft.
