Tennessee received a baseball commitment on Monday.
2024 outfielder and infielder prospect Amari Jefferson announced his commitment to the Vols on Twitter.
“I’m excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and baseball career at the University of Tennessee,” Jefferson said.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound 2024 prospect is from Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
During the 2021 season, Tennessee’s baseball program made its first appearance in the College World Series since 2005 under fourth-year head coach Tony Vitello.
The Vols won the 2021 Southeastern Conference eastern division championship.
Tennessee will play Texas on Tuesday in an elimination game in the College World Series.
First pitch is slated for 2 p.m. EDT. ESPNU will televise the matchup.
