As Georgia football prepares for a big upcoming season, coach Kirby Smart and staff are making moves on the recruiting trail.
The most recent offer in the class of 2022 is three-star linebacker Carlton Madden out of Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia.
Recruits were finally allowed to visit campuses and meet coaches face-to-face when the NCAA ended its dead period on June 1.

Madden (6 feet, 3 inches, 239 pounds) is rated the No. 37 edge defender and the No. 82 player in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports composite.
While Madden is a Colorado commit, Georgia has made a recent push after defensive coordinator Dan Lanning took Madden aside and offered him a scholarship when Madden’s team came to Athens for a 7-on-7 tournament this week.
