Browns tight end Austin Hooper is one of the few Cleveland players with experience playing in a Super Bowl. The one-time Atlanta Falcons standout is ready to roll into his second year with the Browns with high expectations.
Hooper joined the Jim Rome Show this week to talk about the team’s expectations for itself and why having lofty goals is such a good thing for the players.
“You want to be in an organization where the expectation is to be aggressive,” Hooper told Rome. “We want it now. There’s no complacency. There’s no ‘alright we’re building for 4-5 years down the road’. No. We’ve got the guys here where we feel like we can compete with any other football team in the league.”
Hooper continued,
“It’s up to us to put the product out there on the field and work our tails off.”
