After leading the Golden State Warriors to an appearance in the Western Conference play-in tournament behind a red-hot scoring run, Steph Curry has been named to the 2020-21 All-NBA First Team.
The Warriors point guard joined Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.
Curry earned the NBA scoring title in 2020-21, averaging 32 points per game on 48.2% shooting from the field. The 11-year veteran also led the league with 5.3 made 3-pointers per game on 42.1% shooting from long distance. Curry added 5.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest in 63 games.

While pushing Golden State to the Western Conference play-in tournament, Curry notched 30 or more points in his final 21 of 24 games down the stretch. Along with his scorching scoring streak, the 33-year-old shooter registered seven different games with 45 or more points, including an explosive 62 point career-high performance against the Portland Trail-Blazers in January.

Curry has now been named to an All-NBA team seven times in his career, including four appearances on the All-NBA First Team. Along with his All-NBA selection and scoring title in 2020-21, Curry finished third behind Jokic in the race for the league’s Most Valuable Player.
