Giants’ Mauricio Dubon mocks Trevor Bauer’s ‘sword’ celebration and the Dodgers pitcher was amused

A rivalry is reborn!

We know Trevor Bauer is totally fine with batters celebrating when they get big hits and dingers. We also know that the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher likes to stir things up from time to time.

In this case, it seems like he’s joking around, but it’s hard to tell sometimes.

Let’s break it down: the Dodgers played their rival the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, and during the Giants’ win, Mauricio Dubon hit a homer off Clayton Kershaw. When he touched home plate, Dubon sheathed an imaginary sword, which is a celebration Bauer is known for. Dubon didn’t deny it in a post-game interview:

Bauer tweeted this after:

Dubon doing the “sword” with Bauer watching and not actually pitching is still so good. We’ll see if we get more back-and-forth taunting when these two teams meet again at the end of June.
