Oh, Rudy Gobert.
This was a really good effort here, great form and all.
But c’mon. This might be the flop of the year.
In Game 1, the Utah Jazz center fouled out in the fourth quarter and was rooting on his squad when he found himself close to Memphis Grizzlies forward Kyle Anderson, who gave him a little shove. It certainly wasn’t the kind of push that would fell a 7-foot-1, 258-pound giant, but Gobert tried to sell it for a technical foul. Nope. No call, and rightfully so.
But this was ridiculously bad. Check it out and see if you agree:

What is Rudy Gobert even doing here? pic.twitter.com/OwgU4nHnaR

Gobert shouldn’t even be there anyway! He fouled out! And Anderson should ignore him, while we’re at it. But the Grizzlies had the last laugh with a win and that’s all that counts.
