Former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones was rumored to have been the potential No. 3 overall pick to the San Francisco 49ers. When that did not happen, no one knew where he would land.
Turns out, the pre-draft Tom Brady comparisons may have been a lot more accurate than anyone realized.
Jones was drafted No. 15 overall to the New England Patriots.
On the field at Gillette Stadium the home field for the Patriots, Jones held a press conference with local reporters.
He spoke about his relationship with former Crimson Tide running back Damien Harris, as well as what his thoughts are on the team and many other topics.
He will likely not start the season atop the depth chart, due to Cam Newton’s presence, but there is a strong chance Jones will see the field at some point in the 2021 season.
