Edge defender Joe Tryon could try on rotational role for Cowboys, fitted for larger one that suits him

Joe Tryon opted out of the 2020 season to prepare for the NFL Draft. While the last time he played was 2019, he is still a stellar player.

The Dallas Cowboys seem comfortable rolling into the 2020 season with Randy Gregory and Demarcus Lawrence as the starting defensive ends and there is nothing wrong with that. Gregory has not been the most available player throughout his career so if there is good value at some point in the draft the team needs to think about addressing the position. At worst they could find someone who could play a rotational role and relieve some of the pressure from both.

Enter Washington edge rusher, Joe Tyron. Tyron performed extremely well at his pro day and has been receiving quite a bit of NFL love contrary to the limited exposure he has had in the media. If the Cowboys do end up going the edge rusher route at some point in the draft, Tryon should be high on their board.
