The Sacramento Kings (22-30) are in Salt Lake City Saturday for a 9 p.m. ET game against the first-place Utah Jazz (39-13) at Vivint Arena. Below, we analyze the Kings-Jazz odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
Sactown is on a five-game losing skid (1-4 against the spread) following a five-game winning streak from March 22-29 in which it went 4-1 ATS. Four of the Kings’ past five losses were by double digits and they were the favorites in three of those games.
Utah recovered from back-to-back road losses against the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns earlier this week to pummel the Portland Trail Blazers 122-103 as a 5.5-point home favorite Thursday. The Jazz have a 2.5-game lead atop the Western Conference and have won 10 of their last 12 games.
The Kings got ran over 123-101 in their first meeting of the season with the Jazz Jan. 18. Utah is 4-1 straight up and ATS in its last five games with Sactown and all four of those victories were by at least 21 points.

Money line (ML)
PASS because I don’t give Sactown much of a shot to steal this game but no way would I lay -750 with Utah.
The Kings have been punched in the mouth recently by the tanking Detroit Pistons, a Minnesota Timberwolves team with the worst record in the league, and a Los Angeles Lakers squad without LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Against the spread (ATS)
“LEAN” to the JAZZ -12 (-110) for a half-unit only because the backdoor is wide open for the Kings and any bad quarter for Utah will hurt its chances of covering the double-digit spread.
The Jazz are 18-4 ATS in their last 22 games as home favorites and they have a chance to pad their first-place lead over the next several games. Utah’s next three games are at home and are against the Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers.
Since I think Utah makes an early statement, I prefer the JAZZ -6.5 (-115) 1st Half line, but I still “LEAN” toward the Jazz covering the full game and winning by at least 13.
Over/Under (O/U)
Slight “LEAN” to the UNDER 230.5 (-110) for a quarter-unit because the Over will need a lot of points from Utah since Sactown’s offense has been terrible lately, as well as against the Jazz in recent seasons.
Sactown is averaging just 95.5 points per game in the last four Kings-Jazz games and 107.3 PPG in April.
