Four-star offensive tackle George Fitzpatrick announced that he was re-offered by Texas on Tuesday.
The 6-6, 255-pound offensive lineman is rated the No. 2 player in Colorado and a top-30 player at his position in the 2022 recruiting class according to 247Sports.
He attends the same high school (Cherry Creek) as current Texas tight end and 2021 signee Gunnar Helm. Fitzpatrick continues to pile on offers from Florida, Michigan, Penn State, USC, Auburn and Notre Dame.
The Longhorns originally offered Fitzpatrick in October 2020 under Tom Herman. In the tweet announcing the re-offer from first-year head coach Steve Sarkisian’s staff, Fitzpatrick stated that he’s blessed, honored, and excited for the incredible opportunity.
