As someone who both loves Michigan State basketball and who loves the NBA, this is a great time for me. There are fun, exciting, young Spartans around the league right now playing meaningful minutes on some good teams. There is no better example of this than in Memphis, where Xavier Tillman and Jaren Jackson Jr. are once again reunited.
On Friday, after Tillman put up 12 points, 4 rebounds, a block and a steal in a Grizzlies win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, he had the honor of taking the post game interview with the broadcast team. At the end, fellow Spartan Jaren Jackson Jr. made sure to come in and hype up his old friend to celebrate his performance.
