Brossoit will give Connor Hellebuyck a much-needed rest Saturday in the second game of this miniseries in Calgary. He has alternated wins and losses in four starts in March, and he has allowed 3 or fewer goals in each of his last six appearances. That includes a 3-2 win against the Flames Feb. 2 in Winnipeg.
Rittich was on the short end of a 2-0 score at the Toronto Maple Leafs last Saturday, allowing 2 goals on 33 shots in the loss. He has won two of his past four starts, allowing 3 or fewer goals in three of the outings. In his only start against Winnipeg this season Feb. 2 opposite Brossoit, he allowed three goals on 28 shots in the loss.

The JETS (+110) are short dogs on the road, and a good value play. The Flames enter on a four-game losing skid, and the Calgary offense has had a power outage lately, totaling four goals during the slump.
Winnipeg won 3-2 in the front end of the set, and they’re on a three-game heater, all on the road. Back the hotter team.

Against the spread (ATS)
Playing the Jets +1.5 (-250) makes absolutely no sense, as they’re just too expensive at this price.
Taking a small-unit flyer on the JETS -1.5 (+280) on the alternate line with a chance to nearly triple up is worth a shot. Take advantage while the Flames are down.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 6 (+110) is a little bit risky considering the Flames have posted just 4 total goals over the past four games.
They’re due, however, and the Jets offense is rolling along nicely with 4.0 goals per game across their three-game win streak. This won’t be end-to-end action, and a slam-dunk play, but the Over is worth playing lightly.
