Texas is still in the running for a highly sought-after defensive end from the 2022 recruiting class.
Four-star defensive lineman Justice Finkley announced the remaining 12 schools left in his recruitment on Friday. The 6-2, 255-pound playmaker is listed as the No. 7 strongside defensive end in the 2022 class and a top 10 overall player from the state of Alabama according to 247Sports.
Steve Sarkisian’s staff is the latest program to offer Finkley (March 1). Florida, Alabama, Michigan, USC, Oregon, LSU, Kentucky, UCF, Stanford, Colorado and South Carolina are listed alongside Texas as Finkley’s top schools.
Although Finkley has an official visit scheduled at Michigan in June, Texas has plenty of time to make up ground and potentially sway Finkley to the Forty Acres.
