Ohio State basketball way-too-early projected starting lineup, key players for 2021-2022

Now that Ohio State’s season has come to a crashing halt, we project what the starting lineup and key players could be for next season.

We wish we were slinging out another game preview with the Ohio State basketball team prepping for the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. But that’s not the case because the Buckeyes laid an egg against No. 15 seed Oral Roberts in the opening round. So, it’s time to turn the page.

We’re doing just that, even with all the Madness still going on in Indianapolis because well, that’s all that’s really left to do with OSU at the end of the rope of this college hoops season for the Buckeyes. We’ll start by taking a stab at what the way-too-early starting lineup could be this coming winter, and then dive into some of the key contributors that will be a part of what will certainly be another grind in the Big Ten.

So here it goes. Here’s a look at what players will be looking to build upon what we’ve seen so far under Chris Holtmann’s watch.
