The Mitchell Trubisky era has finally come to an end in Chicago as the former No. 2 overall pick has signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, where he’ll serve as Josh Allen’s back-up.
Trubisky’s time with the Bears was certainly a controversial one, starting with the misfortune that Trubisky was selected ahead of two of the NFL’s young star quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson.
While he posted a 29-21 record as a starter, most of those wins came during Chicago’s 12-4 run during 2018 when the defense was the best in the league. The Bears and Trubisky decided to part ways, and now he finds himself with a chance to learn from one of the best in Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, who maybe can help turn Trubisky’s career around.
But while Bears fans won’t be sad to see Trubisky go, the same can’t be said for Green Bay Packers fans, who have enjoyed their team getting to face the maligned quarterback twice a year.
So much so that the folks over at Game On Wisconsin made a hilarious mashup of Trubisky’s lowlights against the Packers to the tune of Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You,” which is sure to have Bears fans crying and everyone else laughing at their expense.

During his time in Chicago, Trubisky, like his predecessors, was abysmal against the Packers. He went 1-6 against Green Bay, with his lone win coming during the 2018 season when the Bears clinched the NFC North. Trubisky’s five losses to the Packers are the most he has against any team in the NFL.
In six games against Green Bay, Trubisky has completed 62.6% of his passes for 1,759 yards with 7 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
So while most Bears are happy to see Trubisky walk, there are some Packers fans that still wish he was in Chicago. Although, they’re sure to have plenty of fun with the Bears’ new starting quarterback Andy Dalton.
