Mel Tucker and offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic are back at it, landing another commitment in the 2022 recruiting class in the form of offensive tackle Ashton Lepo.

Lepo is a 3-star OT from Grand Haven, Michigan, and plays for Grand Haven High School. Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing over 270 pounds, Lepo fits the physical mold Tucker and Kapilovic have sought out while recruiting offensive lineman.

Lepo will be the fourth member committed to the 2022 recruiting class and the third offensive lineman, joining Kris Phillips and Gavin Broscious.

Coach Kapilovic has been hot on the recruiting trail, revamping the offensive line room into the vision that he encompasses. The Spartans will look to add 2-3 more offensive linemen to its 2022 recruiting class.
