It’s no secret that Steve Sarkisian is inheriting a talented roster at Texas.
It’s too early to tell how each player will be utilized under Sarkisian’s leadership, but there’s several young players poised for a breakout season in 2021.
Obviously star players such as running back Bijan Robinson, wide receiver Joshua Moore, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, defensive back D’Shawn Jamison and either one of the potential starting quarterbacks are expected to have monster seasons this fall.
With that in mind, Longhorns Wire staff members each chose a young, rising player that could surprise many this upcoming year. There’s a starting spot up for grabs at wide receiver, Samuel Cosmi has left a large void to fill along the offensive line, and several questions remain on the defensive side of the ball.
