With one game left in the regular season, Michigan basketball are outright Big Ten champions, having earned that distinction by virtue of blowing out rival Michigan State, 69-50, on Thursday night.
It was an incredible way to send off the outgoing seniors, playing on senior night, the last time they would suit up in maize and blue on the home court of Crisler Center.
While there was a lot to like in the win over the Spartans, some recent bad habits showed up in this one, once again. Of course, never to shy away from Michigan’s faults, head coach Juwan Howard spoke about what went right, what went wrong, the big win, and what it was like sending off the seniors with a Big Ten championship.
