As pretty as most of Michigan basketball’s wins were this season, the, now two, losses were just as ugly.
The latest comes at the hands of No. 4 Illinois, who was playing without star and national player of the year contender Ayo Dosunmu. The Fighting Illini completely destroyed the Wolverines and kept the Michigan offense look out of sorts the entire game. Only one Michigan player finished with double digits — Eli Brooks with 11 points — as the usually unselfish, patient Wolverines only managed 4 assists on Tuesday night.
Naturally, head coach Juwan Howard was not pleased, and had a lot to say about the maize and blue’s second loss of the season.
Here’s everything he said in his postgame press conference.
