Feels like we are right in the thick of prospects listing top schools season. Another top target for the Oklahoma Sooners broke down his top schools for recruitment.
Oklahoma’s offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh is looking to land his first offensive commitment of the 2022 recruiting cycle. In the last cycle, they were able to land Savion Byrd out of Duncanville after many felt he was a sure thing to Southern Methodist. Campbell is one of seven offensive guards to receive an offer from the Sooners. He is the No. 1 guard in the country according to 247Sports and ESPN.
Campbell is also a priority target for the Texas Longhorns, so the Sooners are going to need to make a strong push. Despite CBS analyst Tom Fornelli stating the Sooners should be worried about the Horns, on the recruiting trail they are their biggest competition. Especially when you factor in the Sooners make their living on recruiting south of the Red River.
