Five-star quarterback and 2022 Texas commit Maalik Murphy was training on Saturday with quarterback guru Danny Hernandez.
Other highly-touted high school players were present as well, including Aledo quarterback Brayden Fowler and Del Valle wide receiver Caleb Burton (an Ohio State commit).
What was on display from the future Longhorn was his insane arm talent, where he showcased a few examples of his already impressive deep ball skills. His tangibles are incredible considering he isn’t even old enough to vote yet.
Mike Roach of 247Sports was there to capture a few of these throws in person.

It shouldn’t be hard to imagine if Murphy can bring this sort of ability to a Steve Sarkisian offense with players such as Evan Stewart and Armani Winfield catching passes from him in the near future.
Although it’s an unpadded practice and Murphy lacks the in-game experience, it shouldn’t hinder the excitement level for Texas fans with what’s to come.
