Where Wisconsin basketball falls in the latest USA TODAY Sports bracket

Here is where the Badgers end up in the latest USA TODAY bracket

After a 1-1 week for Wisconsin basketball that included a home loss to Iowa and a dominant road win over Big Ten bottom feeder Northwestern, Wisconsin stayed constant in the latest USA TODAY Sports bracket.

The Badgers ended up on the No. 5 seed line, and in the projection would face Western Kentucky in the first round. Wisconsin was on the side of the bracket with Michigan, who led the way as the No. 1 seed in the region.

The last four in had not one but two Big Ten teams in Minnesota and Maryland. The conference could see as many as ten or as few as arguably seven teams land in, with the most likely combination being somewhere between those two numbers. Wisconsin is firmly in the field as they now battle for seeding over the next couple of weeks.
