Sixers to have Ben Simmons, Shake Milton return in matchup vs. Raptors

The Philadelphia 76ers will have Ben Simmons and Shake Milton return against the Toronto Raptors.

The Philadelphia 76ers are looking to carry their home success recently and they will look to take on a tough Toronto Raptors team on the road and get off to a good start in this two-game series.

It will help that they will be able to have some reinforcements rejoin the team as Ben Simmons will return to the floor for the first time since he scored 42 points on Feb. 15 against the Utah Jazz. They will also welcome back Shake Milton for the first time since he injured his left ankle back on Feb. 9 in a road game against the Sacramento Kings.

Coach Doc Rivers is happy to have both of those guys back in the lineup, but they will also be having Milton on a minutes restriction since he is coming off an ankle issue.

“On a restriction,” Rivers stated. “I’m not sure what it is, yet, but I’m positive they’ll tell me in a few that there’s a certain amount of minutes he can play.”

The Sixers and the Raptors will tipoff at 7 p.m. EST from Amalie Arena in Tampa.
