Ohio State holding steady in the Associated Press Top 25 poll

Ohio State continues its winning ways and stays locked in the top ten. The new AP poll reflects how good the Buckeyes have been.

Did anyone really see this coming? Maybe if Kaleb Wesson had returned to school for one more year. But really, did any of you see the 2020/2021 version of Ohio State basketball being this good?

I don’t think anyone, outside of the guys in the locker room at Value City Arena, thought this team could be where they sit currently. They lack size. They lack a true superstar (although E.J. Liddell may be turning into one). And yet, this team is clicking and playing a really fun brand of basketball. The most enjoyable part? They all seem to genuinely love playing for each other.

After another impressive week with wins over Maryland and Indiana, Ohio State remains at No. 4 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Buckeyes are sandwiched between two other Big Ten teams in No. 3 Michigan and No. 5 Illinois. News flash… The Big Ten is good y’all.

Here’s a look at how the AP top 10 stands this week: Gonzaga (1), Baylor (2), Michigan (3), Ohio State (4), Illinois (5), Houston (6), Virginia (7), Alabama (8), Oklahoma (9), Villanova (10).
