Former Wisconsin defensive back Jay Valai was announced as the cornerbacks coach of the Philadelphia Eagles less than 24 hours ago. A new report says his stay in Philadelphia will end at that point, as he is now reportedly becoming cornerbacks coach for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Sources: #Alabama is expected to hire Jay Valai, most recently #Eagles cornerbacks coach, as cornerbacks coach. Valai spent last season at #Texas, went briefly to #Houston and then the Eagles, but is set to join Nick Saban's staff as Karl Scott's replacement at CBs.

Valai spent four seasons with the Badgers from 2007-2010, starting 37 games and recording 153 tackles, 10.5 tackles-for-loss, 1 sack, 2 interceptions and 10 passes defended.
The former Badger then began his coaching career with Georgia as their quality control coach in 2016 and 2017, continued to work for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018, Rutgers in 2019 and Texas last season.
Eagles fans had a little bit of fun about the announcement, noting the fact Valai spent less than 24 hours as an official member of the organization.
