Alabama Basketball had split decisions last week, for the second consecutive week.
The Tide dominated LSU last Wednesday, 78-60. Though it was not the same three-point shooting clinic that was displayed on Jan. 19 in Baton Rouge, Alabama earned the win and the season sweep over the Tigers.
Alabama’s streak of ten straight wins in SEC play came to an end last Saturday, as a fiery comeback fell short on the road at Missouri, 68-65.
That loss was enough to drop Alabama from no. 7 to No. 11 in the latest edition of the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
Missouri was the biggest winner in the Southeastern Conference in this week’s poll. Their win over No. 11 Alabama moved them to No. 10, up seven spots from last week. Missouri is now the highest-ranked team in the SEC, one spot ahead of Alabama.
