Michigan State has landed its third member of the 2022 recruiting class in Roseville High School (Roseville, MI) wide receiver Tyrell Henry. Henry joins offensive lineman Gavin Broscious and Kristian Phillips as members of the 2022 Spartan recruiting class.

Wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins led the charge in this recruitment, helping Mel Tucker land their first in-state target of the 2022 cycle. Michigan State is expected to try and get 3 or 4 wide receivers in the 2022 cycle, Henry is now the first of that group.

Henry did an interview with SpartansWire outlining his recruitment that you can find here.

Henry is a great start to building momentum for the 2022 recruiting calendar that will begin after National Signing Day next Wednesday for the 2021 recruits.

The Spartans beat out Penn State, Nebraska, West Virginia and Cincinnati for Henry’s commitment.
