Former Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger and defensive lineman Ta’Quon Graham checked in for the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl game this week and went through their first practice on Tuesday.
The Senior Bowl is a postseason college football all-star game that showcases the best NFL draft prospects in a weeklong practice period that precedes the game.
It’s the first step in a lengthy NFL draft process for players. The Texas duo has been fine-tuning their game in a variety of ways leading up to the Senior Bowl with hopes of improving their draft stock in front of NFL personnel.
Take a look at Tuesday’s notes regarding Ehlinger and Graham.

NFL draft expert Matt Miller detected the improvements in Ehlinger’s game throughout the first practice, specifically noting his reworked delivery is noticeable.
“It’s a touch more deliberate at times, but he made a few really nice throws including one over the top on the right sideline that was a pretty bucket throw,” Miller tweeted of Ehlinger’s first day of work on the field.

Ehlinger struggled at times and was picked off by Oklahoma defensive back Tre Brown, but overall it appears he had a positive practice on Day 1. The Texas quarterback continued to underscore his leadership and accountability traits by staying after practice to take extra snaps.

It appeared to be a positive day of practice for former Texas defensive lineman Ta’Quon Graham as well. He took advantage of Oklahoma center Creed Humphrey and Notre Dame offensive lineman Aaron Banks on Tuesday.
Graham’s measurables were also impressive, particularly with his wingspan and arm length.
