It has been a busy last few weeks for Oklahoma with transfer pickups, offers being sent out at a high rate and for some fresh commitments.
The Sooners have added three preferred walk-ons in the last week and change, with two of them being quarterbacks and one a wide receiver.
The first was Carl Albert product Ben Harris, who committed to Oklahoma last Tuesday.

One of the most decorated high school players in the history of Oklahoma, Harris will be an interesting prospect for Lincoln Riley to groom in the coming years.
The Sooners weren’t done adding quarterbacks there, for they picked up another one on Sunday in Ralph Rucker out of Lovejoy High School in Lucas, Texas.

Similar to Harris, Rucker had an extremely decorated high school career and will be an interesting project for Riley and company to work with over the next few seasons.
The third preferred walk-on pickup came on Wednesday with wide receiver Kayhon Russell, another Oklahoma kid out of Putnam City North High School.

Listed at 6’3” and 210 pounds on MaxPreps, at the very least he has the frame to be a talented player and comes from a good program in the Oklahoma City area.
Sooners Wire will continue to provide updates as offers are sent out and as Oklahoma gains more commitments throughout the offseason.
