LOOK. Ohio State will wear these uniforms against Penn State thanks to a fan vote

The Ohio State basketball team asked fans which uniform it should wear against Penn State. We have a winner that you’ll see Wednesday night.

The Ohio State basketball team did something not many teams often do, and that’s to put its uniform choice in the hands of fans. It shared a poll on Twitter Monday asking Buckeye fans to pick a uniform for it to wear against the rescheduled game against Penn State Wednesday.

There were a total of 14,946 votes (many hopefully coming from you), and at the end of it all, the throwback red jerseys are the ones that barely won out over the all-gray uniforms that have become a staple of the team’s ensemble. The new home whites and red away jerseys were a distant 3rd and 4th in the poll.

So, there you have it. The people have spoken and the classic eighties-style red jerseys are still a fan favorite. What we wonder is which uniform would win out between that one and the new all-black/gray (which is it) ones the team broke out against Wisconsin.

Maybe there will be another choice down the road where we get an answer to that. My money is on the slick ones that helped OSU to a road win against the Badgers.
