The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the first NFL team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the Patriots pulled it off in 2005. And to do so, they’ll have to beat the quarterback who led that Patriots dynasty.
But for Kansas City, a return to the Super Bowl was expected. They returned 20 of 22 starters from the Super Bowl LIV-winning team, and they have Patrick Mahomes signed through 2031.
The confidence was so high over the summer that Tyreek Hill looked ahead beyond just back-to-back Super Bowl titles. He wanted to chase Michael Jordan’s championship pedigree and top it with seven rings.
Well, Tom Brady — the winner of six Super Bowl titles — took notice to the remarks back in July.

Brady commented on the quote and agreed: “Why not go 7 rings…”
That tweet aged exceptionally well.
If Brady has his way, Hill will have the chance to watch Brady win a seventh Super Bowl ring. And NFL fans were quick to point back to those comments following a championship weekend that set up the Chiefs-Buccaneers Super Bowl.
