Michigan State Basketball has not played a basketball game since a disappointing loss against Purdue on Jan. 8, however, head coach Tom Izzo thinks that will likely change next week. On ESPN, Izzo said that he expects Thursday’s game against Rutgers to take place.
The Spartans haven’t practiced in 10 days but have held group workouts and conditioning.
In their last match-up, Michigan State handily defeated the Scarlet Knights 68-45 at home. They are scheduled to travel to Rutgers in this next game.
