Last week, you could make the argument that the Ohio State basketball team was snubbed a wee-bit in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll. The Buckeyes were the first team in the “others receiving votes” category of the Top 25.
However, after two-straight wins, one at home against Northwestern and another at Illinois, OSU has now gone from all the way outside of the poll, all the way up inside the top 20 to No. 18.
Of course, Ohio State is still a ways away from cracking the top ten, but in a league as tough as the Big Ten, winning two in a row in a week to run the overall record to 11-3, and the conference record to 5-3 to move into fourth place in the league is quite the achievement.
While @ZagMBB and @BaylorMBB maintain perfect seasons and their 1-2 rankings in the @FerrisMowers Coaches Poll, @ScottMGleeson shines a light on three teams we should be keeping tabs on in the coming weeks. https://t.co/PcoLnRY5mW pic.twitter.com/9jhAHLp2OE

But back to the poll. The top ten includes Gonzaga (1), Baylor (2), Villanova (3), Iowa (4), Texas (5), Tennessee (6), Michigan (7), Houston (8), Kansas (9), and Wisconsin (10).
Ohio State will next be in action hosting Purdue on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. EST.
