COVID-19 cases have been on the rise around the NBA over the last few weeks and, as a result, three games have been postponed in the opening month with more likely to come.
Because of the league’s struggles with coronavirus, the NBA met with the Board of Governors on Tuesday afternoon to figure out the best way to go continue the season.
The league came up with some new COVID-19 protocols that they’re hoping will slow the spread of the virus around the league instead of pausing things altogether.
The NBA had previous protocols in place, but added measures on to try and prevent the spread. They’ve already released the new measures to the public along with explanations behind them.
