The Atlanta Falcons haven’t yet found their new head coach or general manager but have been diligently looking to fill the vacancies left by Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff. A report on Monday suggests that Quinn may find a new job before his replacement is hired in Atlanta, though.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Quinn is flying to Dallas on Monday to interview for the Cowboys defensive coordinator position.

Quinn has already expressed an interest in coaching again within the college ranks. However, this is the first we’ve heard of him getting an interview for an NFL defensive coordinator position since he was fired after the Falcons’ 0-5 start, which includes an epic meltdown against Dallas in Week 2.
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy had a rough first year after taking over for Jason Garrett. McCarthy fired defensive coordinator Mike Nolan last week and Quinn could be a good fit as he tries to reestablish his identity as a good defensive coach.
The Falcons are also set to interview Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, as reported by Matthew Tabeek of the team’s official website.
