The Indianapolis Colts are fresh off of their achievement of making the playoffs but will face the harsh reality of being relatively big underdogs against the Buffalo Bills for wild-card weekend.

Entering the playoffs as the No. 7 seed, the Colts will travel to Orchard Park to visit the No. 2 seed Bills, who are the reason Indy make it into the playoffs thanks to their Week 17 trouncing of the Miami Dolphins.

As the week of preparation begins, the Colts will open the week as seven-point road underdogs against the Bills, per BetMGM.

This shouldn’t be a surprise even with the Colts finishing the season with 11 wins. The Bills are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now with Josh Allen being a major candidate for the MVP award.

That said, the Colts aren’t slouches either. They’ve earned their place in the playoffs and if they are firing on all cylinders, no one who has been paying attention will be all that surprised by an upset.

That won’t change the fact that the Colts are the third-biggest underdogs for wild-card weekend. Only the Bears (+10) and Washington (+8) are bigger underdogs than the Colts. Of those teams, though, the Colts have the best chance at pulling off an upset.

The Colts will have to play a complete game to win this one, but Vegas isn’t giving them much faith in pulling off the upset.
