The Spartans remain in the running for one of Michigan’s top offensive line targets in the class of 2022.
Ka’Marii Landers, a three-star offensive tackle from Dearborn, Mich., included Michigan State in his top seven list that he released on New Year’s Day. Michigan State is joined on Landers’ top seven list by Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, West Virginia, Kentucky and Cincinnati.

Landers is listed at 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, and is the No. 599 overall prospect in the 2022 class by 247Sports. The recruiting outlet also has him ranked as the No. 25 OT nationally and No. 23 prospect in Michigan.
Landers is teammates at Fordson High with another highly-coveted Spartans target in Antonio Gates Jr. — who is still projected to end up in green-and-white, according to 247Sports. It would be very nice if MSU was able to land both of these local guys to help boost their 2022 class.
