A battle of the Big Ten’s basement is set to take place on Saturday in Lincoln when the Spartans visit Nebraska, with both programs looking for their first conference win of the season.
After starting off the season hot, Michigan State is in the midst of a three-game losing streak to open Big Ten play. The Spartans were ran out of the gym last time out against Minnesota, 81-56, on Monday, and now are desperate to pick up a win against Nebraska.
Like the Spartans, Nebraska has struggled as of late. The Cornhuskers have lost five of their last six games, with each of those losses coming by double digits. That includes a 36-point loss at Ohio State in their most recent game on Wednesday.
Who will break out of their recent slump? Let’s take a look at this match-up against the Cornhuskers, with game details, things to watch, and last but not least my prediction for this game.
