Buffalo RB Jaret Patterson declares for 2021 NFL draft

Buffalo running back prospect Jaret Patterson is leaving school early to enter the 2021 NFL draft

One of the nation’s most exciting playmakers has announced that he’s leaving school for the next level.

Buffalo’s Jaret Patterson announced via his social media Tuesday evening that he is foregoing his remaining eligibility and declaring for the 2021 NFL draft.

Patterson led the FBS in average rushing yards per game with an astounding 178.6 this season. His 19 touchdowns were second in the country, only bested by Najee Harris’ 24. Perhaps most notably, Patterson tied the FBS record for rushing touchdowns in a game (eight) in a November win over Kent State.

Patterson was named the MAC’s offensive player of the year. He rushed for 1,000-plus yards in each of his three seasons with the Bulls.

Patterson may not be a top 100-pick, but he’s going to bring an exciting element to somebody’s pro offense.
