Bill Belichick’s frustrations with technology continues.
The New England Patriots head coach is infamously known for slamming his Microsoft Surface tablet after a loss to the Buffalo Bills in 2016. Ironically enough, the Patriots played the Bills in Week 16 and Belichick had the same reaction — but this time it was with a phone.
Belichick received a suggestion from his coaching staff to challenge a catch from Dawson Knox in the third quarter. Knox caught the ball on the sideline and the Bills quickly lined up to snap the ball and move past the play. Belichick threw the red flag and Knox was clearly in bounds during the play, leaving Belichick without a timeout.
He called up to inform his colleague about his frustration and the rest was history for the phone.
If Cam Newton threw a football half as well as Belichick throws a phone, Patriots would be up 51-24 right now #Patriots #Bills pic.twitter.com/XMlAOpArLz
