Miles Bridges and the Charlotte Hornets will kickoff their NBA season tonight with a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hornets made sure to lock up their rising star and former Michigan State standout Miles Bridges before the season even started.
The Hornets exercised their fourth-year team option on Bridges on Wednesday, which will extend his contract through the 2021-22 season and pay him a salary of $5,421,493.

Miles Bridges should be a major part of the Hornets’ future, and he has already flashed some impressive chemistry with lottery pick LaMelo Ball.
