Late in their 48-19 win over the Broncos, the Bills had a weird situation play out with wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Diggs, who had a massive game himself with 11 catches and 147 receiving yards, was seen carted off the field with a foot injury. Moments later, the team officially announced that Diggs was being looked at.
Almost as soon as that statement was issued… Diggs was then spotted on the cart, heading back toward Buffalo’s sideline, and he was then hopping off of the cart.
With only one shoe on, Diggs jumped on one foot over to his teammates celebrating their AFC East title win on the sideline near the final whistle.
Now that all that dust has settled, it appears we have a couple of reasons to believe that Diggs will be good to go moving forward as well. First, NFL Network’s Kim Jones reported that the injury was “not serious” and it “will not affect his availability.”
In addition, Bills Wire’s Bradley Gelber also did some investigation of his own. While posting a recording that Bills cornerback Josh Norman posted to his own social media account which involved players celebrating the win in the locker room, he noticed that Diggs is in the background of this video in the Bills (11-3) locker room.
Diggs appears to be dancing in the first seconds of the video. One would think a guy dancing is a good sign in terms of a foot injury:
While Sean McDermott had no injury update on Stefon Diggs… He can be seen here dancing/celebrating with his teammates in the locker room after the game. I’m no medical professional, but that has to be a pretty good sign. #Bills https://t.co/VoJLwqBRik

In case Diggs does need an extra day or two to rest up, the Bills do have that this upcoming week. Their next Week 16 contest isn’t until Monday Night Football when Buffalo visits the New England Patriots.
