Does Derrick Henry ever let up? The Tennessee Titans’ star running back came up big again on Sunday as the Titans topped the Detroit Lions, 46-25, in Nissan Stadium to earn their 10th win of the 2020 campaign.
Henry carried the ball 24 times for 147 yards with one touchdown, averaging 6.1 yards per carry. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill was equally impressive, completing 21-of-27 passes for 273 yards, while also adding three carries for 21 yards and five total touchdowns
The Titans’ defense was by no means perfect on this day and had some trouble stopping Matthew Stafford and the Lions’ offense, but the unit was able to force a pair of turnovers, both of which came in the red zone.
To top it all off, the Titans are finally over the 9-7 hump and have secured their first double-digit-win season since 2008.
Here’s a look at what Twitter had to say about Tennessee’s latest victory, which marks its second consecutive after last week’s triumph over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
