No. 10 Oklahoma will be playing for its sixth straight conference title on Saturday in the Big 12 Championship Game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Awaiting them there will be a team that provided one of their two losses early in the year in Brock Purdy, Breece Hall and No. 6 Iowa State.
The Sooners haven’t been playing a lot of football lately, only taking the field once since Bedlam all the way back on Nov. 21st. That’s due to the West Virginia matchup being postponed back two weeks and then eventually canceled altogether in the days leading up to the rescheduled game.
Now they are preparing to do battle with a Cyclone team that is playing as well as anybody down the stretch having won five straight games. This showdown is chock full of things to watch for, so here are the three biggest storylines going into the Big 12 title game on Saturday:
