Early on Wednesday, Michigan State Football cornerback Shakur Brown was named Second Team All-Big Ten by the media. Later in the day, the Coaches’ All-Big Ten teams were released and Brown was named to the First Team on their list.
This is a nice acknowledgment for Brown, who recently declared to leave school early for the NFL Draft. Brown currently leads the NCAA with 5 interceptions, 4 of which came in just two games. The fact that the Coaches saw enough on film to put Brown on the First Team certainly bodes well for his future.
